Our local Davenport client is looking for a Field Service Technician to support their growing business. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to travel overnight for jobs as needed. Responsibilities:

  • Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment 
  • Support customers over the phone and in person at their facilities
  • Assist with equipment installs, start-ups, and maintenance
  • Read and interpret schematics with basic electrical knowledge
  • Conduct proactive courtesy calls and customer satisfaction surveys with customers when not onsite at customer locations
  • Learn to calibrate equipment to meet company and client tolerances 

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • The ability to obtain a Class D driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record is required for the position (CDL is a plus)
  • Training or work experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance
  • Willing to travel (mostly day trips)
  • Comfortable working in cold, damp, and wet environments
  • Excellent communicator and able to make presentations and teach clients how to operate equipment properly
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willing to be on a rotating, weekend on-call schedule
