Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Palmer Group has partnered with an outstanding client in southwest Houston, Texas, to find a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst on a direct-hire basis. Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert of corporate performance management software, data models, BI tools, extract, transform, and load (ETL)
• Provide key financial models and data using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
• Act as key interpreter of non-financial data impact on financial performance
• Support finance, sales, operations, and support functions with data analytic need
• Manage processes around business intelligence and data, providing insight and aiding the business decision-making process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in data analytics, data science, management information systems, finance, accounting, or statistics
• 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, corporate planning, and/or other related area
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Experience with Corporate Performance Management software and ERP software, direct experience with Oracle NetSuite or Vena is highly preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau skills
