Financial Reporting Supervisor

A local client is seeking an experienced individual to fill their Financial Reporting Supervisor position. This individual is responsible for accounting for various departments, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities:

• Perform various project analyses and other research and analysis as assigned
• Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis
• Complete monthly accounting close, including preparation and review of journal entries, analytical reports, and account reconciliations
• Execute general ledger balancing and financial statement preparations
• Assist in annual year-end by preparing schedules and providing documentation to key stakeholders
• Make recommendations to improve accounting and control procedures 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related fields
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and multi-task projects with competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
