Group Sales

Our client is expanding their team and is seeking someone to work in Group Sales. This position will help grow sales revenue by connecting group customers with performances aligned with their interests and entertainment goals. Connect with us if you want to learn more!

Responsibilities:

• Establish qualified leads, initiate and close sales, and respond to customer service inquiries and issues to maintain positive client relationships
• Proactive outbound efforts through phone, face-to-face, and social selling possibilities to develop, engage and build a successful client base
• Utilize CRM systems to enable accurate and efficient pipeline management
• Cultivate year-round servicing of clients to ensure successful renewal percentages and uncovering of additional new business opportunities
• Initiate sales efforts focused around maximizing sales revenues for prioritized events
• Determine untapped group sales prospects and successfully develop a sales relationship
• Coordinate with the marketing team to assist with sponsorships
• Establish and foster long-term, positive working relationships within area, company, and group ticket-purchasing contacts
• Develop new sales strategies to improve group ticket sales operations through partnership and collaboration with representatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of direct sales experience
• Ticketing, hospitality, event, convention center experience preferred but not required
• Telemarketing sales aptitude and knowledge of telephonic sales methodologies
• Effective presentation skills
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
• Skilled in negotiations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands for time, both efficiently and effectively
