Industrial Control Technician/System Programmer

Our local client is a thriving small business specializing in water and wastewater systems integration and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Control Technician – System Programmer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing system programming services, technical troubleshooting, and system commissioning for water and wastewater systems, with a focus on Rockwell software, Wonderware, and VT SCADA.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring successful integration of control systems into water and wastewater infrastructure
• Develop, implement, and maintain PLC, HMI, and PC-based SCADA software programs for water and wastewater systems
• Work closely with project teams, engineers, and clients to understand system requirements and provide effective solutions
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to industrial control systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency
• Utilize expertise in Rockwell software, Wonderware, and VT SCADA for efficient and reliable system programming
• Maintain detailed documentation of programming processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations

Requirements:

• Prior experience with PLC, HML, and SCADA software programming with a focus on Rockwell software, Wonderware, and VT SCADA
• Proficient in industrial control systems, troubleshooting methodologies, and automation technologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team, strong communication skills, and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Exceptional problem-solving skills 
• Ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions
