Our client, a well-established, industry-leading family-owned company, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join their team. The ideal individual will have proven experience contributing to the quality of internal and external customer support teams with a track record of ensuring excellent customer relationships are established. All customer inquiries and complaints result in effective resolution.


  • Efficiently handle transactional sales orders online, via phone, and email
  • Receive and process transactional sale orders and help to improve the productivity of field sales representatives by effectively managing customer queries
  • Verify the accuracy of transactional orders and maintain accurate sales data
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls; answer incoming calls and engage customers out of the gate
  • Qualify leads, proactively call and follow up with marketing qualified leads
  • Monitor existing sales activities and processes for consistency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective templates for sales communication and sequencing needs to nurture and advance the funnel of potential and existing customers
  • Responsible for Salesforce administration and reporting; ensuring the accuracy of customer, account, and lead data is entered into SF/Rootstock


  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, administration, or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of inhouse computer systems, Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce/Rootstock a plus
  • Exceptional internal and external relationship-building skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization capabilities, detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Team player mindset with a high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole team
