Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Principal, CPA, to join an esteemed accounting firm. You will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of talented professionals while ensuring the delivery of exceptional accounting services to clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize their potential and achieve exceptional performance
- Take charge of the overall financial management and accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis
- Develop and implement effective strategies to streamline accounting operations, optimize efficiency, and enhance productivity within the firm
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting principles and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique accounting needs and provide expert advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals
- Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices, and make proactive recommendations to improve our service offerings and stay ahead of the competition
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure client satisfaction, business growth, and compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or relevant professional certification is strongly preferred
- Substantial experience in a managerial role within the accounting industry, preferably in a public accounting firm
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations
- Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams, driving results, and building strong client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions based on complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, partners, and team members at all levels
- Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other relevant tools
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients
