We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client as a Lab Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support in various laboratory activities, with a primary focus on invertebrate colony maintenance, reagent preparation, and invertebrate testing according to established protocols, methods, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will contribute to ongoing projects by assisting with laboratory studies aimed at characterizing the environmental safety of candidate products. Apply today to learn more!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents to ensure uninterrupted workflow
- Collaborate in the development of invertebrate laboratory bioassay methodologies
- Keep accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory procedures, observations, and results
- Assist in conducting laboratory studies to assess the environmental safety of potential products
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, ecology, entomology, microbiology, plant science, or a related scientific field
- Preferred experience in invertebrate laboratory maintenance or bioassays for terrestrial and aquatic insects
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and effective record-keeping abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
