Our agriculture manufacturing client is growing their local Human Resources team by adding an experienced Recruiter to help them build out the recruitment life cycle for their hourly production positions across two Iowa-based facilities. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report to the Human Resources Manager but work closely with the Plant, Engineering, and Supply Chain Managers to help identify and recruit employees for their facilities. This new hire will be tasked with identifying new processes and phases for the recruitment cycle, partnership programs with career and job fairs, and the ability to pipeline candidates in niche skillset areas. In addition, they will create onboarding programs that include 30-60-90 day check-ins as a part of improved retention efforts. Apply today to be considered!


  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle of all hourly production employees
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of seasonal hiring needs 
  • Partner with managers to determine hiring needs
  • Identify career fairs, job fairs, and partnership referral opportunities
  • Create and execute onboarding and monthly check-ins for all new hires
  • Research pay, benefits, and market knowledge to ensure the organization maintains as a desirable employer
  • Create recruiting tools such as careers pages, fliers, and other tools needed to promote talent brands and positions


  • Minimum four years of recruiting experience in a labor, ag, construction, or manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to be on-site 5 days a week with flexibility as needed
