Palmer Group needs an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a contract-to-hire assignment. You will be designing heavy-duty vehicle components that are functional, reliable, and cost-effective. If this sounds like the role for you, apply today to be considered!
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor entry-level engineers, designers, or technicians collaborating on a shared project
- Conduct engineering analyses, design or redesign components, and develop them for both existing and new vehicles
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and external resources regarding technical matters
- Provide support for integrating and executing vehicle and component designs
- Enforce the appropriate use of engineering criteria and drawing standards
- Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
- Oversee the preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3+ years of experience
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
