Outside Sales Representative

Palmer Group is partnering with a reputable client in the agriculture and construction equipment industry who is looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to their growing team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in driving profitable revenue by renting and selling new and used ag and construction equipment within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in an assigned territory
• Meet or exceed company expectations by renting and selling new and used ag and construction equipment 
• Identify, cultivate, and prioritize your daily, weekly, and monthly agendas to create success in your territory
• Utilize CRM system to pull loan information on anyone who’s bought and sold equipment to generate leads 
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions
• Generate and follow up on sales leads from Inside Sales Representatives to convert them into opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions 
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to communicate product features and benefits effectively

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the agricultural and construction equipment or related industry
• Local day travel is routine. Occasional overnight travel is minimal for this position.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use their operating system, CRM, and manufacturer websites 
• Must have Microsoft office skills, including Excel 
• Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering results
• Competitive in nature, ambitious, and positive personality
• A self-starter with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction
