Our client is an industry-leading design services company and is seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative, Commercial Furniture, to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, building relationships with new and existing clients, and ultimately closing deals within the commercial furniture industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for strengthening relationships by earning trust and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the commercial furniture market
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, general contractors, and other key decision-makers
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate furniture and design solutions to meet their requirements
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to new and prospective clients
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience 
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the commercial furniture /office products/interior design industry
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
