Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team! The ideal candidate will drive sales and revenue growth through lead generation, qualification, and sales closing. Apply today to be considered! 

Responsibilities:

  • Open new accounts and increase market share through cold calling and gaining new accounts
  • Grow and achieve sales targets in both revenue and units
  • Develop and implement business/territory marketing plans
  • Identify and develop present and future key accounts and maintain customer database utilizing company systems
  • Collaborate with General Manager to accomplish overall sales objectives
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer applications and work processes; successfully use ROI, customer value, and other business case justifications to demonstrate the customer benefits achieved by using the company’s solutions
  • Participate in applicable Trade Show Associations and seminars
  • Proposal and Contract preparation and management
  • Negotiation of strategic agreements in addition to terms and conditions for contracts, subcontracts, and MSA’s
  • Fully develop current product knowledge capabilities, applications, and product justification to be recognized as the expert in the field. Complete technical and sales training at the direction of management
  • Stay current with developments within the product line: technical updates, new product developments, failure trends

Requirements:  

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Business or related Technical Field
  • 3-5 years of related experience in B2B field sales
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Innovative and effective problem-solver
  • Knowledge of pricing techniques and strategies for determining labor, material, and travel costs
  • Proven ability to analyze proposals and write contracts, and change orders
  • Skilled at analyzing and making sound judgments on contractor risk
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical maintenance, and electronics
  • Prior Sales, Project Management, and/or Technical Knowledge of the analytical instrument sales market
