Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review, recommend and implement changes to existing packaging and processes to reduce waste. Create the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements
• Drive packaging development throughout the organization
• Coordinate with R&D on new product offerings
• Work with the supply chain to ensure appropriate inventory is available
• Keep current with all industry trends pertaining to packaging
• Train less experienced engineers
• Develop and document standard operating procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field required
• 3+ years of experience in a Packaging engineering role
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Self-motivated
