Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete processing and auditing of bi-weekly payroll, including child support payments and garnishments
  • Generate payroll tax returns and monitor timely payments
  • Provide general ledger reconciliations for all payroll and tax accounts on a monthly basis, researching any discrepancies or errors
  • Prepare and administer all W-2 and ACA forms for employees and federal/state agencies
  • Maintain payroll files in a manner that is consistent with audit requirements
  • Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources on record retention processes
  • Implement compensation and benefit deduction changes
  • Provide basic support for all departments as needed, along with other assigned duties
  • Maintain payroll and tax processing SOPs and suggest ways to make processes more efficient

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent combination of work and education experience preferred
  • Minimum years of payroll experience preferred
  • Previous experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll along with payroll tax at the federal, state, and local levels

Work Model:

  • On-Site
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
