Responsibilities:
- Work directly with an assigned product line to support all areas, including design, quality, cost control, scheduling/production, etc.
- Work as a team to design new products and ensure functional requirements are met
- Design within budget and on time
- Analyze risk related to new designs or processes and communicate directly with project engineering
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing to support their efforts and ensure functionality remains
- Design for manufacture-readiness
Requirements:
- 2+ years of post-college experience in manufacturing
- BS in engineering
- Proficient with CAD (AutoCAD is preferred)
- Proficient with MS Office
- Knowledgeable of Lean Sigma tools/principals
- Experience working with a consumer product is desired
