Product Design Engineer

The Product Design Engineer is an opening with an up-and-coming Cedar Valley Manufacturer. You will be responsible for the design and support of new product development. This role will also be responsible for overseeing projects in cost reduction and product quality. This position is one with immense growth opportunities. Our client is targeting not only exceptional and innovative design skills, but strong communication and attention to detail as well.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and detail new products, and mechanical components
• Create cost reduction plans to reach production and company goals
• Support multiple teams in the completion of projects
• Innovate design and manufacturing process, providing a unique perspective and implementing changes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience designing and developing components
• 4-year degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Well-versed in 3D CAD Software
• Strong communication skills and a new/unique perspective on engineering
