We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect. The ideal candidate will oversee the design and construction of commercial, industrial, and multi-use building projects. After meeting with clients and stakeholders, the project architect will create the initial project design, prepare budgets, and oversee the construction process. Apply today to be considered!
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs
- Draft building plans for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects
- Prepare budgets, material documents, and specification lists for client approval
- Act as an intermediary between the client and the construction team
- Oversee building contractors and construction crews
- Visit the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to state regulations
- Ensure the project remains on time and within specifications
- Create progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets
- Conduct a final inspection after the project is complete
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, or similar with 5+ years of experience
- State architecture certification
- Portfolio of completed projects
- Advanced knowledge of drafting software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to translate concepts into functional construction designs
- Advanced project-management skills
