Project Engineer

Palmer Group is partnering with a local construction company to search for a Project Engineer. This individual will travel locally to assist with projects and ensure quality control at the project sites. Responsibilities:

• Assist, conduct, and lead weekly project meetings
• Prepare and update overall project schedules
• Expedite and review shop drawings
• Prepare job update reports for owners
• Meet with architects and engineers, project superintendents, sub-contractors, and owners
• Prepare and update RFI logs, and change order logs
• Ensure quality control by visiting job sites and interfacing with Job Site Superintendent
• Submit all purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and correspondence to Project Manager(s) for approval

Requirements:

• Degree in construction engineering or 3-5 years of related experience
• Bluebeam and Sage experience preferred
• Demonstrated relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s license
