Research Associate

Palmer Group is partnering with a Fortune 500 company with a small company value feel in their search for a Research Associate. This is a large local organization that continues to grow and thrive in the agricultural space. This individual will be able to record detailed documentation and this position has the ability to grow within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Perform sample extraction, total protein quantitation, and immunochemistry assays
• Record detailed documentation of lab process and lab outcomes
• Work on process improvement opportunities and help the team to implement solutions
• Design, perform, and analyze assay maintenance experiments including performance optimization and reagent replacement
• Collaborate with colleagues in multiple disciplines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field
• 1-3 years of working experience 
• Protein specific analysis experience is preferred
• Immunochemistry, high throughput analysis, computer programing, and experience with laboratory automation are preferred
• Working experience with GLP protein analysis/quantitation

Work Model:

• On-Site
• Monday – Friday
• 8:00AM – 5:00PM
