Do you enjoy working collaboratively with team members, as well as independently, to accomplish daily responsibilities? Is your goal to provide excellent customer service? Our client is seeking a Sales Support Consultant to join their team to assist in promoting new business development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sales support and training to agents and Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO) and their support staff
- Promote company products, services and programs through telephone calls, faxes and emails placed to target agents
- Resolve agent and IMO issues and questions regarding all products, required training, computer operations/website and general questions
- Administer company-sponsored sales and recruiting incentive programs
- Conduct online webinars to prepare agents to promote company’s products and services directly to their clients
- Collaborate with Marketing in developing sales support materials and other marketing communications
- Establish and update competitor product profiles
- Assist the Assistant Vice President and Sales in support of identified projects
- Conduct on-site training and promotional meetings with groups of agents or IMOs
- Coordinate solutions with all departments regarding administrative issues including new business, contracting, funding and enforce
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or bachelor’s degree equivalent education or life and annuity industry experience
- Degreed Professionals: 3 years of life and 3 years sales or wholesaling annuity experience, or 1-year sales or products wholesaling
- Non-Degreed Professionals: 5 years of sales or wholesaling experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone presence and skills in handling escalated calls under pressure
- Ability to prioritize workflows, establish and meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong understanding of life and annuity insurance products
- Specific product knowledge of Index and Deferred Annuities along with basic knowledge of Life products
