Senior Commercial/Ag Credit Analyst

Palmer Group is partnering with our banking client in their search for a Senior Commercial/Ag Credit Analyst. Ideal candidates are strong business professionals with 2+ years of commercial credit analysis experience. This opening is with a top workplace in Polk City, Clive, or Norwalk. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze sources of credit and financial information for individual, commercial, or agricultural loan customers
• Handle working with balance sheets, analyzing taxes, and reconciling balance sheets
• Identify weaknesses in credits before presenting to the Loan Committee for review
• Provide support to lenders to prepare credit presentations
• Identify and document credit file exceptions and loan policy exceptions
• Participate in customer meetings with lenders
• Maintain independence in the credit underwriting function to uphold the bank’s risk management practices
• Handle annual reviews for commercial and ag loans

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial and/or agricultural credit analysis experience 
• Must reside within 30 miles of the Polk City, Clive, or Norwalk branches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Follow policy, procedures, and State and Federal regulations
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Work Model:

• On-Site
• 8:00AM – 4:30PM
• Monday – Friday
