Senior Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance department
• Perform compliance activities, including lending, deposit, and BSA/AML regulations
• Understand regulatory impacts and current compliance events to assist management 
• Assist with training team members on compliance-related topics
• Research, implement, and manage the areas of banking regulations and laws, banking policies and procedures, consumer protection, and public interest laws
• Monitor compliance-related workflows
• Assess and evaluate compliance risk by collaborating with bank department heads and bank employees
• Assess training needs 
• Report to the Board of Directors and senior management on the development and effectiveness of the existing compliance program

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of bank compliance experience at the management level preferred
• 7-10 years of lending and deposit compliance experience
• Strong communication skills

Work Model: 

• Open to hybrid or on-site
• In office 4 days per week, remote 1 day per week 
• Must reside in Iowa
