Palmer Group is partnering with a local employee-owned company to search for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. This individual will be able to work side by side with clients and join a collaborative team atmosphere while working for an industry leader in industrial automation. Responsibilities:
- Operate on-site and safely perform on-site panel audits
- Translate existing panel design to new platforms
- Operate as a contact for clients on design requirements
- Perform bid specification to estimate design hours, needed electrical components, schedule, and timeline
- Specify and generate material lists for basic networking components
- Participate in design reviews for projects of varying size and complexity
Requirements:
- Strong design knowledge in SolidWorks and Blender
- Engineering degree with proven experience working in electrical theory
- Design of process safety circuits
- Working PLC knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with existing clients
