Palmer Group is working with a client in the financial services industry who is looking to add a Senior Marketing Insights Analyst to their Marketing team. As a Senior Marketing Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to help tell a story and drive our marketing strategies and decisions. You will work closely with the marketing team to provide actionable insights, optimize campaigns, and ensure data-driven decision-making. Apply today to be considered for this opportunity! 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources (such as digital campaigns, CRM, and social media)
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor essential marketing metrics and KPIs
  • Perform in-depth analyses to comprehend campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Apply statistical methods and predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes
  • Conduct A/B tests and analyze results to optimize marketing strategies
  • Generate compelling data visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI, presenting findings to stakeholders in a way that translates complex data into actionable insights
  • Provide practical recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across all marketing data sources
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and marketing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing data analytics, including web, social media, and campaign performance
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other CRM systems)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Model:

  • Hybrid (only for candidates who can commute to an office in Des Moines. This is not a remote position).
