Senior Rental Housing Analyst

Palmer Group is partnering with a reputable client who is searching to fill their Senior Rental Housing Analyst position. This position will help with the Affordable Housing Program as well as partner with Member Institutions. If this interests you, apply today! 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration of the Affordable Housing Program
• Review and analyze AHP rental project applications with complex structures and layered funding
• Analyze real estate budges and operating statement to determine project feasibility 
• Complete feasibility review and analysis at project application, funding disbursement, project modification, and project completion monitoring
• Partner with Member Institutions, nonprofit and profit developers during the funding and monitoring of AHP projects
• Review and provide assistance on AHP Pre-Applications

Requirements:

• Affordable housing program experience, such as HOME, CDBG and/or LIHTC or other regulatory backgrounds
• Asset management experience is helpful
• Skilled with Microsoft Office programs
• Professional certification in an accredited housing and economic development educational program, such as the National Development Council Economic Development Finance Professional Certification is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
