Senior Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to join a Data & Integrations team. As the Senior Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the Agile methodology within our organization, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of data and integration projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, remove impediments, and foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple data and integration teams, guiding them through the Agile process and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach team members on Agile best practices and empower them to self-organize and continuously improve their processes
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to prioritize and plan the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
• Identify and address impediments that hinder the progress of the data and integration teams, leveraging resources and escalating issues when necessary
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the data and integration teams, promoting a culture of learning, experimentation, and adaptation
• Track and report on key Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint burndown, and team performance, providing insights and recommendations for process optimization

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams, preferably in data management or integration projects
• Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Analyst, Report Developer, Business Systems Analyst, or Application Developer experience
• Power BI
• SQL
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) preferred
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
