Service Delivery Engineer

Palmer Group is partnering with our well-regarded financial client in their search for a Service Delivery Engineer. A strong candidate for this role will be a self-motivated, technically competent individual with a proven ability to collaborate to promote institutional change across an organization. Responsibilities: 

• Drive change across a multi-technology landscape and disrupt conventional ways of thinking
• Create a DevOps process and instill a DevOps culture within the Infrastructure team
• Design and implement DevOps tools and procedures to improve IT development and operations
• Exhibit passion for Automation and Innovation
• Support innovation and automation initiatives end to end Infrastructure services
• Utilize general knowledge of infrastructure management tools
• Collaborate between several self-organizing teams with individual delivery responsibilities 
• Provide recommendations for service maturity

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Netapp Storage platform and VMWare Products, incl certification. (VCP-NSX etc.)
• Demonstrated implementation of DevOps concepts (Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
• Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
• Familiar with Git, Ansible
• Passion for coding (Powershell/Python)
• Strong analytical and ownership skills
• Understanding of new technologies
• Multi-Cloud mindset
