Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join a growing team in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. You will be responsible for servicing commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment parts, performing repairs, installation, and troubleshooting live electrical components. Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches
• Meet with the customer to determine the nature of the service or repair
• Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field
• Complete job reports
• Advise and train customers on the equipment
• Install and test new equipment

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a service technician or maintenance technician
• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Mechanical and electrical skills
• Good communication and training skills
• Ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot equipment
