Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and implement software applications, including the creation and execution of unit and integration tests
  • Interpret and execute user stories, software requirements, and design specifications throughout the development process
  • Ensure that practices are followed in terms of software development
  • Collaborate with direct teammates to ensure that software products deliver business value and meet all organizational deadlines and standards
  • Act as a member of a coding project team and articulate any actionable items, including debugging items 
  • Develop and document software solutions that emphasize performance, usefulness, stability, and reusability
  • Establish and uphold expectations and ensure that deliverables are certified prior to rollout of the product 
  • Participate in identifying and assessing risks within the project/business
  • Collaborate and build effective business relationships though through effective and clear communication
  • Lead and participate in Software Development meetings and presentations with management and peers
  • Develop and follow personal development plans to demonstrate progress across established goals

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience developing using ASP.NET technology and hosted web-based solutions, developing Unit and/or Integration Tests
  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript and related libraries 
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL Server or Oracle database technologies 
  • Understanding of the Agile practices and Scrum methodology
  • Solid knowledge of technologies and tools used in .NET Software Development
  • Familiarity with software design patterns
  • Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of development
  • Some experience with the following skills: software development processes for Waterfall or Agile/Scrum, software requirements assessment and implementation, automated testing, continuous integration builds, automated deployment processes, source code repositories, and code check-in processes
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to and apply changes quickly, multitask, and collaborate with leadership effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential material by organizational policies and guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Focused on continuous evaluation and improvement to deliver quality results in a self-organizing team environment
