This person will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of specialized insurance programs tailored to specific industries or client needs.   • Design and develop specialized insurance programs tailored to niche markets or unique client needs
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of insurance programs, ensuring they meet goals and expectations
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities within specialty insurance sectors by conducting market research
  • Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate risks associated with specialty insurance programs
  • Develop underwriting guidelines and criteria specific to each program.
  • Ensure programs are designed to mitigate risks while remaining competitive and profitable.
  • Create and execute strategic plans for the growth and development of specialty insurance programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with brokers to promote and sell specialty insurance programs
  • Ensure all programs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations that may impact specialty programs
  • Oversee the financial performance of specialty insurance programs
  • Ensure programs are financially viable and contribute to the overall profitability of the organization
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for specialty programs
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote specialty insurance offerings


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or professional insurance designation (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on specialty insurance programs
  • Proven track record of successful program development and management
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and insurance regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software
