Human Resources
Palmer Group is partnering with our client to fill the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position involves collaborating with hiring leaders, creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, managing onboarding, and overseeing the internship program. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in recruiting or related human resources in a warehouse, engineering, or manufacturing space. Responsibilities:
- Work with hiring leaders to understand recruitment needs for their departments
- Creating and posting job descriptions to appropriate sites
- Interview candidates and create a pipeline of consistent hiring needs within an organization
- Provide feedback on candidates to hiring leaders
- Create and present offer letters, ability to understand pay and benefits package
- Manage and enhance the onboarding process for all new hires
- Manage internship program, including hiring and onboarding of interns
- Provide employee assistance as needed
- Support the Human Resources department with all projects as needed to support business lines and growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, human resources, or a related field
- 3-5 years experience working in recruiting, talent acquisition, talent development, or other human resources-related activities
