Palmer Group is working with a regional commercial cleaning and building maintenance company and is looking to add a Territory Sales Representative to their team. In this role, you will manage and grow an existing book of business and identify, prospect, and close new accounts to achieve growth objectives. If this sounds like you, please apply today to be considered!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive outside sales activities to generate new business and expand market reach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients through business development efforts
  • Responsible for writing up contracts, facilities management, project management, preparing RFPs, and responding to customer inquiries
  • Utilize technology sales techniques to promote products and services effectively
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify sales opportunities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively pursuing leads and closing deals
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is ideal but not required
  • Proven sales experience in the Commercial Cleaning/Janitorial Services/Building Maintenance industry is required 
  • Valid driver’s license for company vehicle 
  • Strong business acumen and people skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills 
  • Self-starter with an aptitude to learn 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
