What you will do:
- Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and total accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases
- Communicate with the leadership team and outside accounting firm
- Oversee the preparation of vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records and review them for accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare payroll and enter it into the online system, submitting 401K and 125a plan funding and reconciling all documentation
- Monitor loans and accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date
- Reconcile and recommend resolution for report discrepancies and problems
- Coordinate and prepare pertinent information for external accounting firms and auditors
- Code data for input to financial systems according to the company’s procedures
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of previous accounting experience, manufacturing setting preferred
- CPA would be a plus
- Must possess working knowledge of regulatory bodies relating to payroll, taxes, and general business financial conditions
