What you will do:
- Deliver technical support and solutions to service technicians, store personnel, and retail refrigeration systems
- Manage service contractors and field technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards
- Train and develop new technicians while acting as a resource for troubleshooting
- Respond to calls during and after working hours, serving as a liaison during power outages
- Oversee refrigeration projects, coordinating with the Refrigeration Manager and other departments
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while optimizing system performance
What you will need to be successful:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with installing, servicing, and diagnosing refrigeration systems and controls
- State of Iowa HVAC/R license and EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Technician’s License
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical instructions, and troubleshooting systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with effective problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing projects and familiarity with maintenance software and procurement systems (preferred)
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
