What you will do:
- Establish a good rapport with business leaders
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a culture of trust and productivity
- Perform budgeting and forecasting
- Review financial and operating benchmarks, program monitoring, and reporting standards
- Follow accounting policies, controls, and procedures, adhering to corporate and governmental compliance standards
- Manage confidential matters professionally
What you will need to be successful:
- Master’s degree or CPA highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required
- 8+ years of related experience in accounting
- Solid skills in organization, attention to detail, and critical thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to handle multiple initiatives with competing deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
