What you will do:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accountability
- Oversee month-end/year-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Maintain GL and enforce internal controls
- Resolve cost/inventory discrepancies; lead cost accounting and variance analysis
- Prepare audit documentation; liaise with external auditors
- Develop budgets and financial models for strategic decisions
- Analyze operational metrics (costs, labor, CAPEX) and recommend improvements
- Support capital budgeting, ROI analysis, and new product/process evaluations
- Ensure compliance with tax filings and audits
- Drive continuous improvement in finance and operations
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- 3+ years of experience in the accounting/finance field
- Prior manufacturing experience
- GAAP knowledge
- ERP proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA/CMA/MBA (preferred)
- 2+ years of leadership experience (preferred)
