What you will do:
- Cultivate and oversee a portfolio of commercial clients by identifying their financial objectives and tailoring solutions to meet their needs
- Evaluate financial statements and design loan structures that align with internal banking policies
- Facilitate discussions on loan terms, including repayment strategies and collateral arrangements
- Draft and deliver loan proposals to internal credit committees when required
- Verify that all loan documentation is accurate and adheres to regulatory and institutional standards
- Conduct periodic assessments of commercial accounts to ensure ongoing creditworthiness
- Collaborate with treasury management and other departments to introduce and promote additional banking services
- Engage actively in community initiatives and professional networks to enhance the bank’s presence and reputation
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a comparable combination of education and professional experience
- 4+ years of experience in a lending-related position
- Background in commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate financing, and SBA lending is highly desirable
- Prior experience in managing loan portfolios is preferred
