We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and strategic growth within our Commercial Business unit. This role is ideal for a hunter who excels at prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals with OEM customers. What You Will Do:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within target markets
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new OEM customers and expanding existing accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts
- Lead the development of proposals and quotes
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Service, Supply Management, and Operations teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical pre-sale and post-sale support
- Negotiate and establish long-term contracts
- Work closely with Sales Leadership to align sales efforts with broader business objectives
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives and sales strategies
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably within OEM supply, contract manufacturing, automation, or industrial distribution
- Proven track record of acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, and influence purchasing decisions at the executive level
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and drive sales initiatives.
- Confidence and self-motivation to quickly establish credibility and deliver results within the first few months
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
