What you will do:
- Apply engineering principles to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in manufacturing products
- Lead medium to large, complex capital projects and programs over $4M
- Work with suppliers and contractors to oversee the design, specification, and installation of new equipment
- Ensure that engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and specifications
- Attend and contribute to planning and scheduling meetings in order to report on project progress
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ME, CE, ChemE, Electrical or Industrial)
- 5+ years managing capital projects and budgets
- 2 years of people leadership and manufacturing experience is preferred
- PMP certification or other Project Management training is preferred
- Travel is required to plant and vendor sites, 30-50% depending upon project activity and complexity
