Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and the organization’s values and goals
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process
- Optimize financial performance and drive informed decision-making by providing insightful analysis and recommendations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP accounting standards
- Manage external auditors and tax advisors for both state and federal regulations
- Strengthen and cultivate new strategic relationships with external partners
- Participate in negotiations of terms and agreements
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimization by collaborating with operational teams
- Implement initiatives to enhance operational performance and profitability across the organization
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the accounting and finance teams
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Develop talent and build a high-performing team capable of supporting the evolving needs of the organization
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO, Vice President of Finance, or similar role in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Experience in the agricultural industry is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving business growth
