Continuous Improvement Manager

What you will do:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean events, training programs, and process‑stability efforts
  • Direct and implement the organization’s industrial safety programs, including policies, training, risk assessments, ergonomic reviews, and equipment inspections
  • Lead safety committees and support broader corporate safety strategies
  • Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
  • Conduct assessments such as audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and guide follow‑through on action plans
  • Set performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and support leadership development through structured training
  • Manage and develop team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, providing direction, and performance management

What you will need to be successful: 

  • Strong continuous improvement background with demonstrated ability to lead structured lean or CI efforts
  • Ability to manage both safety and CI functions with initiative, collaboration, and effective decision‑making
  • Skilled in communication, training, and working closely with technical and non‑technical teams
  • Understanding of regulatory safety standards, including OSHA and related authorities
  • Ability to quantify, interpret, and act on data
  • Familiarity with process‑planning tools such as flow diagrams and relationship diagrams
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem‑solving abilities with a style that builds credibility and engagement
  • Lean certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
