Responsibilities:
- Process daily accounts payable transactions, invoices, employee expenses, receipts, ACH, and returned payments
- Ensure correct approvals and backup are set in place
- Communicate to various departments, employees, and external parties
- Reconcile month-end duties as assigned
- Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Facilitate year-end audit preparation
- Ensure information is entered in a timely manner and all payments are made on time
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or transactional accounting
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Prior experience with financial or banking general ledger software
- Ability to make sound decisions and work through things with a high attention to detail
- Provide excellent communication, organization, and time management
