What you will do:
- Compile financial statements and reports for management evaluation
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Examine financial data and deliver variance analysis to highlight trends and areas for enhancement
- Enhance company cash flows by proficiently handling accounts receivable and accounts payable, including assessing and authorizing vendor invoices for payment while ensuring timely disbursements
- Manage the development of department budgets and integrate them into the company budget
- Assess budget performance and present variance analysis
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
- CPA or CCIFP certification is advantageous
- At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating increasing responsibilities, including team management
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
