What you will do:
- Lead the accounting team, overseeing AP, AR, banking, and payroll functions
- Act as the system authority for configuration, training, and user support
- Track expenses to ensure accuracy and proper categorization
- Review daily banking transactions for compliance and precision
- Recruit, develop, and guide finance staff to maintain high performance
- Participate in Staff Meetings and Finance Committee sessions as needed
- Provide coverage for the CFO when required
- Evaluate the work of finance staff, including sales, payables, reconciliations, and journal entries
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline
- Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or a similar field
- Advanced expertise in accounting software applications
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate, interpret, and clearly communicate complex issues
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of team collaboration and resource management
