What you will do:
- Perform inspections and safety surveys
- Prepare written reports and make recommendations based on your findings
- Advise the safety director on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions
- Plan and implement training for employees with work site safety practices
- Conduct post-accident investigations and prepare reports when needed
- Plan, assist, and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and DOT
- Assist in the development, evaluation, and upgrading of safety programs
What you will need to be successful:
- 3+ years of experience in a safety role
- Experience in OSHA, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Spaces
- CHST or CSP is highly preferred
- Excellent computer, communication, and training skills
- Active driver’s license is required to drive company vehicles to job sites
