The Human Resources Manager will oversee all plant HR operations, drive strategic initiatives, and support a high‑performing workforce across our manufacturing operations. What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three HR professionals
- Oversee all HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning
- Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that support business goals and operational excellence
- Manage recruitment and retention efforts for skilled trades, production, and professional roles
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support training, talent development, and succession planning initiatives
- Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, collaborative culture
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in HR processes and policies
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience managing HR teams
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience in non‑union manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Strategic mindset with a hands‑on, approachable leadership style
