Responsibilities:
- Perform design reviews of project documents for conformance with design requirements
- Create functional performance test procedures for building systems
- Perform field inspections, witness equipment startups, and test and balance activities
- Verify and tune systems by performing field functional performance testing with contractors
- Prepare deliverables, including technical reports, Cx reports, system manuals, assessments, and LEED documentation
- Perform the technical quality, accuracy, and managerial aspects of Cx projects
- Create and maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
Requirements:
- 5+ years of engineering or HVAC field experience
- Controls or commissioning work experience
- Understanding of Cx requirements, including test and balance, electrical systems, life safety systems, energy audits, and HVAC controls
- Desire and ability to lead client meetings
