What you will do:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the financial department
- Plan, organize, and direct accounting functions, creating policies
- Coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and addressing performance issues in a timely manner
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and take corrective actions
- Generate and maintain accurate cost reports
- Supervise activities and create timely financial reports for stakeholders and auditors
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelors in accounting
- 7+ years of related experience in accounting
- Experience with organizational budgeting and preparation of financial statements
- Experienced in financial and strategic planning
- Ability to analyze data, establish goals, execute a plan, implement process improvement, and meet deadlines
- Ability to perform complex accounting tasks
- Excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills
