Junior Compliance Analyst

Our client, a regulated financial institution, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Compliance Analyst to support ongoing compliance operations and ensure adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements. This role serves as part of the organization’s second line of defense, with responsibility for reviewing disclosures, conducting compliance testing, assisting with audits, and helping interpret regulatory expectations for internal teams. What you will do:

  • Review and confirm disclosures to ensure accuracy
  • Perform compliance reviews and workpapers in support of regulatory requirements
  • Record findings, organize evidence, and monitor issues through resolution
  • Research federal and state regulations and convey key requirements for business partners
  • Contribute to training efforts by preparing materials and helping staff understand procedural or compliance changes
  • Support audits and examinations
  • Oversee components of the compliance management program
  • Serve as a resource to frontline and operational teams by addressing routine regulatory and procedural questions
  • Partner with retail teams to map, revise, or adapt processes, procedures, or forms based on regulatory changes

What you will need to be successful:

  • 2+ years of experience within banking or credit unions
  • Experience in a compliance or legal environment is a plus
  • Ability to interpret regulations and complex information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance best practices
