Work model:

- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What you will do:
- Prepare tissue culture media in a controlled lab setting
- Cultivate transformed tissue in specific media and express protein from expression systems
- Spot deviations from standard protocols and initiate corrective actions
- Bulk plasmids, initiate bacterial culture, and expressing protein from expression systems
- Help with imaging tissues using microscopes and scanners and track experiments using a database
- Record data and keep track of process execution
- Proactively adhere to compliance using best laboratory practices
What you will need to be successful:
- A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biomedical engineering, biology, or similar major is preferred
- Laboratory experience and the ability to work in a sterile environment
- Experience in maintaining cultures and ability to work on detail-oriented tasks
- Problem identification and solving skills are essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with spreadsheets or other data analysis and tracking software is preferred
